Jesus Martinez is a San Diego based cinematographer and photographer. As many others, he is a retired skateboarder that got introduced to the photography realm and then filmmaking art trying to capture his friend’s best tricks.

He started working in the commercial space with agencies like Launchboom, crafting the visual story of product launches. He then worked full time at Raindrop Marketing Agency as an in-house Cinematographer, where he honed in on his cinematography craft, until he felt it was time to pursue freelance.

Recently, he has been working on a lot of branded short doc work and commercial ads with a styled look through his personal brand @jesusmartinezcreates and production agency @outtakemedia. He works with various budgets from one man band as a DP/Photographer to higher productions with a bigger crew.

He is a first generation Hispanic that is bilingual and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
